Sum Rate and Max-Min Rate for Cellular-Enabled UAV Swarm Networks

This paper investigates the fundamental rate performances in highly promising cellular-enabled unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) swarm networks, which can provide ubiquitous wireless connectivity for supporting various Internet of things (IoT) applications. We first formulations sum maximization and max-min rate, are two nonlinear optimization problems subject to constraints UAV transmit power antenna parameters at base station (BS). For problem, we propose an iterative algorithm solve it utilizing Karush–Kuhn–Tucker (KKT) condition. transform equivalent conditional eigenvalue problem based on Perron-Frobenius theory, thus design obtain solution such problem. Finally, numerical results presented indicate effect some key networks.
